COVID-19 has temporarily closed several attractions in El Paso, but thanks to social distancing guidelines, some local attractions are reopening. One of our favorite places is Bob-O’s Family Fun Center. It is a one-stop-shop of fun for children, teens and adults. The amusement center has the following attractions:
- Batting Cages – 20 pitches cost $2 or 8 Credits. Helmets are required for 7-years-old and up
- Laser Odyssey – Cost 32 credits a per person. Missions are for 6-year-old and up
- Kiddie Rides – Dizzy Drum, Old Western Train, and Flying Banana are 12 credits per ride. Kiddie rides have height and weight limits.
- Arcade –Credit cost varies per game. Age range is toddler to adult.
- 18-hole Miniature Golf – Cost 28 credits. Children 5-years-old and younger play free
- Bumper Boats – One ride cost 28 credits per driver (45-inches and taller) and passenger (40-inches and taller) is free
- Go-Karts – Cost 28 credits per driver (58-inches and taller) and passenger (40-inches and taller) is free
- Mini Go-Karts – Cost 28 credits per driver (45-inch to 58-inches tall)
It is open seven days a week. Operation hours are noon to 8 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Weekend operation hours are noon to 9 p.m. The amusement center address is 3851 Constitution Dr., El Paso, TX 79922. Enjoy local fun without the long ride home.
Always call ahead. Weather and fluctuating COVID-19 guidance may impact operating hours.
Tokens and print tickets are no longer accepted, but patrons may purchase a Bob-Os Fun Card. The card is redeemable for games, food and attractions. It keeps track of e-tickets as well.
All sales are final. No cash refund. Unlimited video games do not give out e-tickets or prizes. Green card readers are used for Unlimited Fun Cards.
Eat before visiting the amusement center. Snack bar prices are not worth the convenience. The best deal on the menu is Bob-O’s XL (16 inch) Pizza. One topping XL pizza cost $15 and supreme is $20. Plus, toppings are limited. Keep in mind, it is a family fun center. Not a pizzeria.
Parents and guardians with small children that cannot sit alone should pass on the kiddie rides. Seats and restraints are designed for children. Adults may secure the child but are required to stand behind the barrier.
